Team & access at a glance
- Everyone on your team is an admin and can change every setting.
- An invite lasts 3 days. Resend sends it again with a fresh link.
- Your allowed domains sets who can be invited or sign up. With no domains, anyone with a work email address can be invited.
- By default, a sign-in ends after 7 days without activity, and after 30 days at most.
How to invite your team

Open the invite dialog
On Your team, press Invite teammates.

Add email addresses
Type an address, such as
teammate@company.com, and press Add or Enter. Add as many as you need.3
Send
Press the send button, such as Send 2 invites, and confirm your password when asked. Each person gets an email with a link to join your workspace.
Manage invites
The Invites panel lists each invite with its Status (Waiting, Joined or Expired), when it Expires, and who sent it.- An invite lasts 3 days. Home reminds you of one that ends soon.
- Resend sends it again with a fresh link and a new expiry date.
- Revoke cancels an invite that is still waiting. Delete removes a joined or expired one.
- Clear joined and expired tidies the list.
Manage your team
Your team lists each person’s Name, Email, Job role and Last sign-in.- Deactivate opens Remove team member?. Press Remove: they lose access to the dashboard at once and stay in the list as deactivated. You can’t deactivate yourself.
- Open the deactivated people under the list and press Reactivate to give someone access again.
Who can join
Who can join lists Your allowed domains: “Only these domains can be invited or sign up.”- With no domains, anyone with a work email address can be invited.
- Type a domain under Domain to allow, such as
company.com, and press Add domain. - Wildcards such as
*can’t be added. Add each domain you want to allow. - Removing a domain doesn’t remove the people who already joined with it.
How long a sign-in lasts
Our defaults sign your team out after 7 days without activity, and after 30 days at most, whichever comes first.1
Change it
On How long a sign-in lasts, press Change.

Pick the times
Without activity refers to the time with no activity before a sign-in ends: from 15 minutes to 30 days. At most refers to the longest a sign-in lasts: from 1 hour to 90 days. The time without activity can’t be longer than the most.

Save
Press Save changes and confirm your password. Anyone already past the new limits is signed out at once.
Check it works
Your invitee’s row turns Joined once they finish signing up. They appear under Your team.Troubleshooting
- An invite says Expired. Press Resend for a fresh link.
- “Your workspace has sent as many invite emails as one day allows.” This means that your workspace reached today’s limit on invite emails, new invites and resends together. Try again tomorrow.
- “…but email could not be sent.” The invite exists, but its email didn’t go out; the message says why. Press Copy link and send the link yourself, or Resend later. If the address has a typo, Revoke the invite and invite the right one.
- The invitee can’t sign up from the link. They must use the email address the invite was sent to. Their domain must be in Your allowed domains, if you set any.
- The invite page says “This workspace is full.” This is because a workspace can have at most 100 members. Deactivate someone you no longer need, or email support@helpalive.com.
- You are asked for your password. Some actions here ask you to confirm it. See Your account.
