How HelpAlive is priced
Three components, designed so what you pay grows with the value you get:- Per end-user session captured by the SDK. This scales with your traffic, not with your team size — a 5-person team running a high-traffic SaaS pays more than a 50-person team with low traffic.
- AI usage for chatbot answers, generated guidance, and (in development) automatically generated guide drafts. Token-equivalent metering, billed monthly.
- Per resolution (in development). Once we have real outcome data — guides completed, support questions deflected, friction events resolved — we’ll layer in a per-resolution charge so customers pay more only when more real friction is being closed.
- Seat-based pricing (Pendo, Intercom): penalizes team growth even when you’re not using the product more.
- Pure session-based (segment-style): pays the same whether the tool actually helps anyone or not.

Starter
For small teams getting started.SDK + AI chatbot trained on your docs, core adoption analytics, coverage-gaps inbox, two-layer PII redaction. Capped event volume.
Growth
For scaling B2B SaaS.Everything in Starter, plus higher event volume, in-app guides on request, multi-tenant analytics, team roles, custom origin allowlist, configurable session policy.
Enterprise
For larger or regulated environments.Everything in Growth, plus dedicated onboarding, custom retention policies, additional database-level access controls, priority support, and a path to self-hosted deployment.
We don’t publish per-tier pricing while we’re calibrating with design partners. The Early Access program is the fastest path to a quote and the most useful to us for product development.
