The Account page is where you manage your personal HelpAlive account — your profile, your sessions, your notifications, your display preferences (including dark mode), and account deletion. It’s separate from your organization’s settings, which live in Settings. You’ll find it from your avatar in the dashboard.

Profile

Open Account → Profile to update:
  • First name and last name — used across the dashboard wherever your name appears.
  • Job role — optional, helps your team know who does what.
  • Email — read-only; if you need to change it, contact your account admin.
The same card shows your timezone, last login time, and whether you’re an Admin or Member. To change your password, click Change password in this section. HelpAlive sends a 6-digit code to your email; enter it to set a new password.

Security

The Security section is for managing how you sign in and which devices have access.
  • Email verification status — whether your email is verified.
  • Password — confirms you have one set; click to change.
  • Active sessions — every device currently signed in to your account. You can see browser, OS, and the last time it was active. Click the menu on any row to Revoke this session, or click Sign out everywhere else to log out every device except this one.
  • Two-factor authentication — coming soon. Authenticator app and recovery codes are visible but not yet active.

Notifications

The Notifications section is where you choose what HelpAlive emails you about.

Security notifications can’t be turned off — they protect your account.

Display preferences

Open Account → Preferences to control how the dashboard looks for you.

Appearance (light / dark mode)

This is the dashboard’s color mode. Pick one:
OptionBehavior
LightDashboard always uses the light theme.
DarkDashboard always uses the dark theme.
SystemDashboard follows your computer’s setting and switches automatically when your OS does.
The preference is per user, saved to your account, and applies to the whole dashboard the moment you click Save Preferences.
The dashboard’s color mode is a separate setting from the Agent’s color scheme. Your end users see the Agent’s color scheme set in Agent → Appearance; your team sees the dashboard color mode set here.

Date format

Choose how dates appear in the dashboard:
  • MM/DD/YYYY — US format (e.g. 05/11/2026).
  • DD/MM/YYYY — European format.
  • YYYY-MM-DD — ISO format.

Time format

Choose how times appear in the dashboard:
  • 12-hour (e.g. 3:42 PM).
  • 24-hour (e.g. 15:42).
Click Save Preferences when you’re done — none of these changes take effect until you save.

Danger zone

The Danger zone is for actions you can’t undo.
  • Delete account — coming soon. Permanently removes your account from HelpAlive.
When this lands, deletion will be irreversible. Until then, contact your admin if you need to be removed from your organization.
